The Association for Promoting Inclusion (API), established in 1997 in Zagreb is an NGO which aims are creating community based alternatives to institutionalization and the inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities into society.

The activities of the branch-office include occupational and psycho-social rehabilitation, health care, nourishment, stationary and weekly accommodation programs for adult persons with moderate, severe and profound intellectual disabilities.

CENTER FOR EDUCATION "LUG"
Centar za obrazovanje "Lug"

Center for education Lug is care and welfare institution for children and youth with intellectual disabilities and behavioural disturbances. It also hosts a unit for juveniles with educational measures and a unit for occupational education with workshops for practical work.

SELECTION OF TOPICS IN CROATIAN

As part of the Congress a selection of topics in Croatian entitled Mental health of persons with intellectual disability – Croatian symposium will be held on Friday October 12 in Mimara Museum, Rooseveltov trg 4. All the lectures will be consecutively translated in Croatian.
Registration fee only for this symposium is 100 Euro.
Presenters are plenary and pre-congress lectures from the European congress, distinguished world experts in the field of mental health of persons with intellectual disabilities. Moderators are Prof. Dr. sc. Anton Došen and Prof. Dr. sc Borka Teodorović.
